- Questions worth asking now
EMERGING TECHNOLOGY · HUMAN JUDGMENT
Dr. Michael Litman turns AI, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and the technology shaping tomorrow into stories people understand and remember — on a stage, on the page, and behind a microphone.

Serious thinker.
Genuinely fun speaker.

ONE JOB. THREE PLACES.
THE SHORT VERSION
Michael brings a professor's clarity, an entrepreneur's practicality, and a storyteller's instinct to every stage. The result is a room full of people leaning forward, not checking their phones. The books and the podcast do the same job, on your own schedule.

Listen on SpotifyAI LITERACY · THE TWO TO START WITH
These are the books to hand someone who wants to actually use AI — not read about it. Each one is interactive: a short lesson, a practice panel right on the page, then a real exercise in a free app. No jargon, no prerequisites, nothing you can break.
01 · For the working professional
Judgment, fluency, and verified trust in the age of AI.
Sixteen weeks of practical AI literacy for people whose job is not technology. Eight weeks to understand the landscape, the models, and how to choose and prompt them. Eight more to create with multimodal tools, run AI privately, build a prompt library, delegate to agents, and redesign your own work around it.
Labs you actually do
02 · For anyone who already mastered the smartphone
A practical guide to living smarter, safer, and more confidently.
Six unhurried sessions, each teaching one skill you can use that same day. You practice right on the page, then try it in one free app on the iPhone or iPad you already own. No jargon, no rush, and nothing you can break.

YES, THEMEET MICHAEL
Dr. Michael Litman is a computer scientist, professor, technology strategist, entrepreneur, author, and speaker who helps audiences understand the technologies transforming business, education, society, and everyday life.
As Professor and Chair of Computer Science at Concordia University Wisconsin, Michael helps lead work in artificial intelligence, computer science, and emerging technology. He is a co-founder and faculty leader of Concordia's AI & Quantum Innovation Lab, where students, researchers, and industry partners explore practical applications of next-generation computing.
He is the author of Litman Books, a library of interactive computer science and AI-literacy textbooks; co-author of the audiobook You Are The Asset; and host of Tech Unfiltered with Dr. Mike, a short-form show about what artificial intelligence is actually doing.
Across more than 25 years in software engineering and higher education, he has built and shipped technology, mentored future technologists, advised innovators, and learned a useful truth: the best explanation is usually the one that makes people say, "Oh! Now I get it."
WHAT THE ROOM GETS
Visual explanations and real examples replace the wall of jargon.
